Rabbit Zielke

Host & Producer

Rabbit has been on the air at WUTC since 1993.  Originally a music host on the weekends and the producer/host of Celtic Harvest, she began producing news segments for Around and About Chattanooga in 2006.  In the Fall of 2015 she assumed the duties of Membership Manager and Volunteer Coordinator at the station.  Rabbit is an alumna of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga obtaining a BS in Exceptional Education and MPA with a concentration in Nonprofit Management.  Her background includes teaching, technical writing, IT, electronics technician, US Navy veteran and roller derby announcer.  Rabbit and her husband Jack live in Harrison Tennessee.

The American Flags on the Veteran's Memorial Bridge were replaced on May 15, 2015. 

Jack's Chattanoggins will be shaving heads to raise funds for the Children's Hospital Foundation at Erlanger on June 7th at the Chattanooga Market

HBO and the City of Chattanooga are bringing a TV movie about Bessie Smith to the big screen at the Tivoli Theater on May 21, 2015.

The Hunter Museum of American Art is currently featuring three different collections in their temporary exhibit hall.

Stephanie McKain is Miss Chattanooga 2015 and wears her crown proudly.  She also promotes nonprofit and charity work when not preparing to represent Chattanooga in the Miss Tennessee pageant. 

The Southeast Conservation Corps is an organization working to promote conservation efforts in the region.

Jazzanooga presents their annual music festival with activities all through the month of April. 

The 8th annual Clean and Green is April 25th from 8 am to around noon. 

Story Drop Chattanooga begins on April 16th and offers a chance to write part of a story being created by a community.
