Chattanooga's Ensemble Theatre Company Has a Unique Take on 'A Christmas Carol'

The Ensemble Theatre Company of Chattanooga is mounting a production of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol  in Midtown Central in Brainerd. Richard Winham talks to the director, Garry Lee Posey, about their unusual approach to the story in a space that wasn’t designed to be a theatre.

From theETC Web site:

The Christmas season is a wonderful time of year, when families and friends get together and celebrate, but that doesn't mean that everything is always mistletoe and chestnuts roasting on an open fire. This holiday season, ETC has decided to explore the Scrooge in all of us with a different take on the classic story, A Christmas Carol. Adapted from Charles Dickens famous novella, this version features a small cast in which each actor gets the chance to show their inner Scrooge. Grab your family and friends for a fun night out and join us for A Christmas Carol.

Adapted by Janet Allard and Michael Bigelow Dixson based on the novella by Charles Dickens
Directed by Garry Lee Posey
Stage Managed by Timmie Montgomery

Featuring: Liam Carpenter, Tom Goddard, Ryan Laskowski, Deb Meeks, Ivy Meeks,
Taryn Bracher, Monica Rollins Woodlief and Eric “Red” Wyatt
