Cloudland Caynon Hosts Mountain Arts & Crafts Celebration 11/7 - 11/8

About 10,000 people are expected at the third annual Mountain Arts and Crafts Celebration, which will take place at Cloudland Canyon State Park.

FROM A MEDIA RELEASE:

THE 3rd ANNUAL MOUNTAIN ARTS AND CRAFTS CELEBRATION is a juried event held at Cloudland Canyon State Park the first weekend of November, this year November 7th and 8th, 10 AM to 5PM.  Cloudland Canyon was recently listed among the top places to visit for Fall beauty so this is a celebration you don’t want to miss.  Admission to the park is only $5 per vehicle without a park pass or free to those holding a park pass. There is an additional charge of $3/person to enter the Celebration for anyone ages 13 and up.   Over 100 exhibitors, artists and artisans will be displaying their creations among the beautiful fall foliage of Cloudland Canyon.  There are numerous food vendors and fun children’s activities.  Featured on stage, there is live music, and spoken word artists who continue the Southern tradition of spinning a good yarn.

This year the Tri-State Food Bank is offering a free raffle ticket to those who bring a non-perishable food item or who donate cash.  There will be at least $1500 worth of quality items raffled!

In addition to the basking in the changing colors, other activities such as miles of hiking trails, waterfalls, and disc golf are available.  Cabins, yurts and different levels of camp sites are available at the Park (but they sell out early for this event).
