The annual Pumpkin Smash and Fall Harvest Festival at Crabtree Farms is Saturday November 1, 2014 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
This family friendly event features down on the farm fun with games and tractor rides. Visitors to the farm can bring their pumpkins and use the trebuchet provided by Crabtree Farms to launch the carcass of their Halloween Jack'o Lantern across the field to become compost for next year's crops. There will be a pie eating contest and children's activities. Tickets are available at the farm or bring a non-perishable food donation for the Chattanooga Area Food Bank for free entry. Carnival games and tractor rides are available at separate costs. Proceeds will help support educational programs at the farm.
