Start It Up Episode 13: Chattanooga Tech Council Looks to the Future

Over the course of her career, Ronna-Renee Jackson has led international work groups at IBM and been an Assistant Vice President at UNUM.  However, she has truly found her calling as Executive Director of the Chattanooga Technology Council.  Jackson has been at the helm of CTC at a time when Chattanooga is being recognized as one of the country's leading tech communities.

Whether it's improving relationships between startup companies and their larger corporate siblings or promoting Chattanooga as the best place to start a business, Jackson and the CTC engage with the startup community in a variety of ways.  She sees a bright future ahead as Chattanooga creates homegrown talent while also welcoming entrepreneurs from around the world.

Susanne Burnham was the Executive Producer of Start it Up from October of 2014 to August of 2015. She is a graduate of The Company Lab’s Accelerator. She is the Founder and CEO of Click Click Boom, a graduate of the University of Georgia and a U.S. Army Veteran (Desert Storm). She launched her career in the mobile tech industry in 2009, and in 2012 relocated to Chattanooga because of EPB’s fiber optic network and to participate in the City’s growth as a tech and startup hub.
