The Tri State Women Veterans is an unofficial organization where women who have served in the US armed forces meet socially to share stories, plan events, and discuss current information about their veteran benefits.
The group meets the 3rd Saturday in even numbered months at a local restaurant for brunch. The remaining meetings scheduled for 2013 include August 17, October 19 and December 21. The meeting location is subject to change based on availability of restaurant space. Contact Patty Parks at 423-326-0839 to sign up for the mailing list. The August 17 meeting will be held at Shoney's Restaurant located at 2318 Shallowford Village Dr. from 10:30 to 12:30.
