The 2013 Riverbend Festival featured a variety of local, national and international acts.  Here are just a few of the highlights.

The group of Southern gothic strummers played one of Riverbend 2013's most energetic sets on the Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union stage.

  Jeff Styles and Richard Winham play selections from bands performing Friday, June 14 and Saturday, June 15  as Chattanooga's annual Riverbend Festival wraps up.

Tuesday nights at Riverbend are always set aside for family-friendly entertainment.  This year on Faith and Family night, Voices of Lee performed a mix of gospel and patriotic songs.

Rising young blues star Scotty Bratcher played a blistering version of 'Voodoo Child' at the end of his set.  He played several shows during the 2013 Riverbend Festival, including one show at the Bessie Smith Strut on Monday.

Sunday night at Riverbend 2013, country comedian Tim Wilson performed several of his novelty songs, including The First Baptist Bar & Grill.  "I've been told they actually built the First Baptist Bar & Grill in Chattanooga," Wilson said after his set.    

Hot Club of Cowtown played an energetic western/swing set the second night of Riverbend 2013.

Nashville singer/songwriter Brandon Maddox played the festival during the second night.  WUTC's Michael Edward Miller chatted with him about the astonishing number of songs he's written.

The first performance of Riverbend 2013 happened at the Chattanooga Public Library, with an unplugged performance from 2nd South Carolina String Band.  They play authentic Civil War-era songs on period instruments, and they've been featured in Ken Burns documentaries and movies like Gods and Generals.
