Siskin Children's Institute

Chef Shelley Cooper at Terra Mae Appalachian Bistro is bringing together friends and colleagues along with her mentor to celebrate good food for a great cause—the Siskin Children’s Institute. Last year they raised $5000 for Siskin—this year they are certain they will surpass that, according to Chef Cooper.

Siskin StarNight co-chairs Charles and Betty Lebovitz join us to talk about the event, which features singer Colbie Callat and benefits Siskin Children's Institute.  It will take place August 16th at the Chattanooga Convention Center.

Styleworks is an annual fashion show and luncheon raising funds for Siskin Children's Institute.  There will be a preview party on April 30th, and the main event is on May 1st.  WUTC's Michael Edward Miller speaks with event co-chairs Rachelle Haddock and Rachael Welch.

From a media release:

The golden anniversary of Star Night will be celebrated Saturday, August 25th at the Chattanooga Convention Center.
