In this segment, WUTC’s Michael Edward Miller finds out why wines from Argentina are becoming popular with Scenic City wine drinkers.  He visits Jax Liquors, which has a section of Argentine wines, talks to Damon Levy from Vine Connections, and chats with Mariano Cebrian from Panoram Imports.  Panoram hosts a regular Argentine wine cruise on the Tennessee River.

The majority of states allow grocery and food stores to sell wine.  Not Tennessee.  Here in the Volunteer State, liquor stores alone can sell packaged wine.  In this segment, WUTC examines the history and rationale behind this law.  WUTC also explores current debates about changing it.

Spring Wine Fest on Mother's Day Weekend

Georgia Winery, the first official winery of Georgia, will have their 10th Annual Spring Wine Fest this weekend. From May 11th to May 13th, the Spring Wine Fest will feature live music from Sweet Georgia Sound, wine tastings, and food. At the event, Georgia Winery will also debut their newest wine called Southern Blooms.
