The majority of states allow grocery and food stores to sell wine.  Not Tennessee.  Here in the Volunteer State, liquor stores alone can sell packaged wine.  In this segment, WUTC examines the history and rationale behind this law.  WUTC also explores current debates about changing it.

Georgia Winery, the first official winery of Georgia, will have their 10th Annual Spring Wine Fest this weekend. From May 11th to May 13th, the Spring Wine Fest will feature live music from Sweet Georgia Sound, wine tastings, and food. At the event, Georgia Winery will also debut their newest wine called Southern Blooms.
