Mark Colbert has been WUTC's program director for 28 years.  "I love my job.  It's been an exciting experience witnessing the growth of WUTC since its inception in 1986," says Mark.  "Radio technology and music has changed over the years with the help of web streaming and HD2.  I hope to continue to see it prosper."  Mark lives in Chattanooga with his son.  Email Mark at  

Ways to Connect

The 2013 Kids Count report examines the well-being of children and teens in all 50 states.  The report revealed that Tennessee has improved in the economic well-being of children compared to 2012 and ranked 16th nationwide in health.  However, Tennessee ranked near the bottom in education.

A group called Friends Of Howard High School is working with local and state officials to garner support for a new school stadium. The facility could be used for band, football, track and field activities and could be an enhancement to Chattanooga's Southside.

Home Instead Senior Care Of Chattanooga has launched Family Caregiver Stress Relief, a public awareness campaign to assist home caregivers.  Caregivers can use tools that identify the role of a caregiver and determine risks of emotional and physical issues.
