Chattanooga Holiday Market Coming to Convention Center in December

From a media release:

Beginning Saturday, December 7th, The indoor Chattanooga Holiday Market will begin at the Chattanooga Convention Center boasting plenty of local and regional artists, as well as food artisans.  The Holiday Market, which actually began 3 years ago, gives shoppers an opportunity to purchase handmade gifts for the season, supporting local artists and entrepreneurs.

At the Chattanooga Convention Center for the next three weekends this month, the Holiday Market will feature over 125 vendors who hand make a variety of products including all natural health lotions and soaps, apparel items, woodworks, canvas arts, photography, homemade prepared foods and many more selections.  Live entertainment and other festivities, such as the Chattanooga Girls' Choir, will be ongoing and a full schedule of events is available online at Holiday.ChattanoogaMarket.com.

"The addition of an indoor market was something we offered a few years ago initially, answering the requests of our patrons who wanted to shop closer to the holidays for handmade gifts", says Chris Thomas, Executive Director of Chattanooga Market.  "It has grown each year and this will be our first year to remain open every weekend in December...leading right up to Christmas". The additional 3 weekends of shopping benefits our local community as well, providing an opportunity for the non-profit public market to extend its support of area artists before the 2014 regular season re-opens in April.

The Chattanooga Holiday Market will be open for 3 weekends in December: Saturdays (10am-5pm) & Sundays (11am-5pm), December 7, 8, 14,15, 21 and 22nd.
