The deadline for open enrollment for health coverage under the Affordable Care Act is February 15, 2015. The City of Chattanooga is hosting Get Covered Chattanooga, an enrollment event on Saturday February 7 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Brainerd Youth and Family Development Center on Moore Road.
The event is free and open to the public. If you plan to enroll at the event you will need to bring a valid ID, documentation of household income, along with the social security number and birth date of all family members expected to be covered. Financial assistance is available to qualified applicants. Health Care Navigators will be at the enrollment event to provide assistance or you can schedule an interview by calling 311. Applications for Marketplace programs are available online at GetCoveredTenn.org.
