MacDowell Music Club and Chattanooga Music Club will have a joint meeting and program at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 19, 2014 in the sanctuary of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, There is no charge to attend the musical program, which will include multiple presentations by members from both groups.
Among the participants are David Friberg, organist, playing Bach Cantata in F; Dr. Bruce Ashton and family with piano quintet by Ravel; Jay Craven, clarinet, accompanied by Virginia Marion, pianist, with a “jazzy” piece; Jim Martin playing a selection on handbells; Bill Riddlespurger with a piano solo; Delores Beery with a vocal solo; Keith Reas also performing on the organ; and Ann Pope with a piano solo.
The public is invited to attend.
