Save Water, Drink Wine set for February 7 at the Barn Nursery

From a media release:

The Student Environmental Alliance (SEA) Kids 4 Clean Water is gearing up for its 3rd Annual Save Water, Drink Wine Fundraiser in the warm greenhouses of The Barn Nursery.  “The Websters are such gracious, fun hosts of this event, “   exclaims Mary Beth Sutton, Executive Director “We couldn’t do this without them. They are the best!”  Wine and food stations are set up throughout the greenhouses and gift shops for a relaxing evening complete with light jazz music.  You can dream of your spring garden or Valentine’s surprises and even purchase plants that night if you want!

SEA works across the Caribbean as well as right here in Tennessee, so upon entering the event, each guest will receive a passport to the islands to get stamped at each island table scattered throughout the greenhouses.  “We will feature wines of the Dahlonega, GA vineyards this year!  They are so close, yet many people have never sampled their wines since they produce such small batches“ explained event chair, Christine Bock, from the Tennessee Aquarium.  In addition, the Tennessee Table will show off a special Tennessee treat, moonshine samples from Sugarland Distillery and Moonshine Cakes from Tennessee Moonshine Cakes right here in Chattanooga! Panoram Imports will be back with their special Argentinian wines as well as Horizon Wine and Spirits with several tasty reds and whites!

Each station will also have food bites from some of our favorite restaurants, 212 Market, Terra Nostra, Niedlov’s, Conga Latin Food, Taqueria Jalisco, Dish T’Pass Catering and BufBrad’s beef jerky!  Door prizes will round out the evening!

Make sure to get your tickets early at The Gear Closet (SEA’s resale shop for outdoor gear and clothing), The Barn or online at Caribbean-sea.org.  We already know there will be one birthday girl attending, so get your singing voice ready!

Thanks so much to our sponsors, The Barn Nursery, Tennessee American Water Company, The Chattanooga Times Free Press, Panoram Importing, Horizon Wine and Spirits, Sugarlands Distillery and to our donors 212 Market, Dish T Pass Catering, Jonathan and Tricia Vickery, Costco, Niedlov’s, Conga, Buffalo Brad’s Beef Jerky, Flying Squirrel Bar, Best Brands, Terra Nostra, and Tennessee Moonshine Cakes!
