VORP Provides A Chance For Reconciliation

The Victim Offender Reconciliation Program (VORP) works with first time offender youth to face the victim of their crimes and reflect on the harm they have done.

The program encourages self reflection and consideration of the impact of their crime as well as the potential for future harm if they continue to break the law.  VORP participants are referred to the program by the court system and work with volunteer facilitators.  The hope is to reduce recidivism and turn young lives around.

Gems for Justice Raffle is a fundraiser in support of VORP.  From March 12, 2013 to March 30, 2013 you can purchase an Easter Egg containing a semi-precious gemstone and a raffle ticket.  The grand prize is a solitaire diamond valued at $3,995.  There is a limit of 5 eggs per person.  The eggs may be purchased at 3901 Hixson Pike, Suite 101, Chattanooga Tennessee.  The drawing will be held Saturday March 30, 2013 at noon.  For more information call 423-605-3725.
