American Cancer Society

Chattanooga's Relay For Life will raise money for the fight against cancer, celebrate those who have survived cancer, and give participants a chance to honor those who have passed away.  Although the event isn't until May 30th, you can visit the Web site right now and make donations, sponsor teams, and sign up to participate.

The annual gala event for the American Cancer Society is coming up August 16th at the Stratton House. 

"A Smile To Remember" is a walk for Ovarian Cancer Awareness on Saturday, April 5, 2014 beginning at 9:00 AM at the 1st Presbyterian Church located at McCallie Avenue and Douglas Street.

New National Study from the American Cancer Society

Chattanooga is one of the cities chosen by the American Cancer Society to participate in the newest Cancer prevention study. The study is known as CPS-3, and Chattanoogans can learn how to become involved by visiting the enrollment site

The American Cancer Society needs people age 30 - 65 who have never had cancer for a nationwide study about who does and doesn't get cancer, and why.  Michael Edward Miller spoke with Kara Neloms, Communications and Marketing Associate Director, Mission Support, about the study.
