Chattanooga Mayor Andy Berke scored a big victory in the March 7 city elections, with a wide margin of voters choosing him for a second term. But some races will continue, as runoff elections are now scheduled for two City Council seats.

Chattanooga Times Free Press opinion writers Pam Sohn, Clint Cooper and David Martin appear on this episode to talk about winners, losers and surprises in the recent citywide vote. Dave Flessner moderates.

Chris Long is an architectural consultant, small business owner and former builder. WUTC's Michael Edward Miller interviewed Long.

Andy Berke is a former Tennessee State Senator. In 2013, he was elected as Chattanooga mayor, and is now running for a second term.

Larry Grohn is on the City Council serving District 4. A former schoolteacher, he moved to Chattanooga to retire, but got involved in politics.

David Crockett didn’t respond to our request for an interview.

However, Crockett did speak at a candidate forum at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. The forum happened on February 10. Crockett answers questions about crime and affordable housing in the audio clip above.
